1. Escucha con traducción

Escucha un par de veces hasta que entiendas bien la historia.

My favorite supermarket is having a sale!
Mi supermercado favorito está de rebajas.

I see the vegetables are priced low.
Veo que las verduras están a bajo precio.

My favorite fruit’s prices are reduced too.
Los precios de mi fruta favorita también están rebajados.

I like kiwi and my roommate likes strawberries.
Me gusta el kiwi y a mi compañera de piso le gustan las fresas.

Sadly, I cannot see many kiwi in the bin.
Lamentablemente, no veo muchos kiwis en la cesta.

I ask, “Do you have more kiwi available?”
Pregunto: "¿Tiene más kiwis disponibles?".

The produce manager tells me, “Yes, there are more in the back.”

Then I check in the meat aisle for good deals.

While the butcher gets the roast, I look at steaks.

Escucha varias veces hasta que puedas responder correctamente a todas las preguntas a tiempo, con los ojos cerrados.

My favorite supermarket is having a sale! Is the supermarket or the book store having a sale? [SUPERMARKET/BOOKSTORE], yes.

I see the vegetables are priced low. Are the vegetables priced high or low? [HIGH/LOW], yes.

My favorite fruit’s prices are reduced too. Are the fruit prices reduced or priced high? [REDUCED/PRICED HIGH], correct.

I like kiwi and my roommate likes strawberries. Does my roommate like kiwi or strawberries? [KIWI/STRAWBERRIES, yes.

Sadly, I cannot see many kiwi in the bin. Am I happy or sad because there’s not many kiwi? [HAPPY/SAD], correct.

I ask, “Do you have more kiwi available?” Do I ask if there’s more kiwi or bananas available? [KIWI/BANANAS], yes.

The produce manager tells me, “Yes, there are more in the back.” Does the product manager tell me yes or no? [YES/NO], correct.

I put the strawberries in my cart. Do I put strawberries or blueberries in my cart? [STRAWBERRIES/BLUEBERRIES], yes.

The manager brings me the kiwi. Does the manager bring me kiwi or carrots? [KIWI/CARROTS], yes.

Then I check in the meat aisle for good deals. Do I check the meat or dairy aisle next? [MEAT/DAIRY], correct.

I would like a large beef roast. Do I want a large or small roast? [LARGE/SMALL], yes.

But all I see is small cuts of beef. Do I see small cuts of beef or chicken? [BEEF/CHICKEN], correct.

I asked the butcher, “Do you have a larger roast?” Do I ask the butcher if there are larger cuts of roast or lamb? [ROAST/LAMB], yes.

He tells me, “I do have a couple of larger cuts.” Does he say he does or doesn’t have larger cuts? [DOES/DOESN’T], yes.

While the butcher gets the roast, I look at steaks. Do I look at steaks or cheese? [STEAKS/CHEESE], correct.

I see the prices are outrageous! Is the price of steak reasonable or outrageous? [OUTRAGEOUS/REASONABLE], yes.

The steaks will cost me an arm and a leg! Will the chicken or steaks cost too much? [CHICKEN/STEAKS], yes.

I would need to work more to afford them. Will I need to work more or less hours to afford steaks? [MORE/LESS], yes.
