1. Escucha con traducción

Escucha un par de veces hasta que entiendas bien la historia.

I saw a beautiful woman at the beach.
Vi a una hermosa mujer en la playa.

I asked, “What is your phone number?”
Le pregunté: "¿Cuál es tu número de teléfono?".

She replied, ”876-241-9854.”
Ella respondió: "876-241-9854".

I called her and asked her out.
La llamé y la invité a salir.

She said yes. My date was in two days.
Me dijo que sí. Mi cita era en dos días.

I picked her up. She had two dogs.
Pasé a recogerla. Tenía dos perros.

I noticed she had five birds.
Me di cuenta de que tenía cinco pájaros.

In a fish tank I counted nine fish.
En una pecera conté nueve peces.

I said, “You have many pets.”
Le dije: "Tienes muchas mascotas".

She told me she had more.
Me dijo que tenía más.

I then saw many cats.
Luego vi muchos gatos.

I counted. There were twelve cats!
Los conté. Había doce gatos.

She led me outside.
Me llevó fuera.

In her yard, I counted 17 chickens, and 1 rooster.
En su patio, conté 17 gallinas y un gallo.

I wondered if there were any more.
Me pregunté si habría más.

I then felt something grab my leg.
Entonces sentí que algo me agarraba la pierna.

I looked down and saw a monkey.
Miré hacia abajo y vi un mono.

The monkey climbed up my leg.
El mono trepó por mi pierna.

I left her home. She was not the woman for me!

Escucha varias veces hasta que puedas responder correctamente a todas las preguntas a tiempo, con los ojos cerrados.

I saw a beautiful woman at the beach. Did I see a beautiful woman? [YES/NO], I did.

I asked, “What is your phone number?” Did I ask for her credit card number? [YES/NO], I did not.

She replied, ”876-241-9854.” Did she tell me her phone number? [YES/NO], she did.

I called her and asked her out. Did I send her a text message? [YES/NO], I called.

She said yes. My date was in two days. Was my date in three days? [YES/NO], it wasn’t.

I picked her up. She had two dogs. Did she have three dogs? [YES/NO], she didn’t.

I noticed she had five birds. Did I see five birds? [YES/NO], I did.

In a fish tank I counted nine fish. Did I count seven fish? [YES/NO], I counted nine.

I said, “You have many pets.” Did I say she had many pets? [YES/NO], I did.

She told me she had more. Did she tell me she didn’t have any more? [YES/NO], she didn’t.

I then saw many cats. Did I see a few cats? [YES/NO], I saw many.

I counted. There were twelve cats! Did I count twelve cats? [YES/NO], I did.

She led me outside. Did she lead me outside? [YES/NO], she did.

In her yard, I counted 17 chickens, and 1 rooster. Did I count 17 chickens in the yard? [YES/NO], I did.

I wondered if there were any more. Did I wonder if there were more? [YES/NO], I did.

I then felt something grab my leg. Did I feel something grab my arm? [YES/NO], I didn’t.

I looked down and saw a monkey. Did I see a monkey? [YES/NO], I did.

The monkey climbed up my leg. Did the monkey climb up my leg? [YES/NO], it did.
